Bellybutton-less Earth's Sexiest
The sight of Karolina with that button-less belly is kind of weird for me, but she looks whoopin' sexy, right?

Edward Cullen
I turned into this book, ebook actually, which I downloaded in my Ipod, and which I have become addicted to. My reading of the book was a result of the trailer of the new Twilight movie. We all know Cedric Diggory, and I kind of disapproved Rob Pattinson when he played that part in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. But, in the new Twilight movie, seeing its trailer, Rob Pattinson becomes Edward Cullen and his every inch.
I am becoming more and more inlove with Edward Cullen as I get to the last page. I become thirsty when the Ipod is nearing to being drained! Wahahaha! He is a picture of an ideal man now, except of course the fang. And the LOVE, the love that's living in the story is indeed, unconditional and irrevocable. I don't know but I just wanna cry everytime I read a confession from Bella pertaining to Edward himself.
No matter what he is, a vampire, a mountain lion, I'll love him forever! Waaaaaaah!

Baby I Love Your Way
Shadows grow so long before my eyes
And theyre moving across the page
Suddenly the day turns into night
Far away from the city
Well, dont hesitate, cause your love wont wait...
Ooo, baby, I love your way, everyday
Gonna tell you I love your way, everyday
Wanna be with you night and day
Moon appears to shine and light the skies
With the help of some firefly
Wonder how they have the power to shine
I can see them under the pine
But dont hesitate, cause your love wont wait...
Ooo, baby, I love your way, everyday
Gonna tell you I love your way, everyday
Wanna be with you night and day
(solo - on verse) but dont hesitate, cause your love wont wait...
I can see the sunset in your eyes
Brown and grey, blue besides
Clouds are stalking islands in the sun
Wish I could buy one out of season
But dont hesitate, cause your love wont wait...
Ooo, baby, I love your way, everyday
Gonna tell you I love your way, everyday
Wanna be with you night and day

i need VITAMIN C
Maybe I just perceive myself as a rock. Hahah. Very healthy and has a body filled with nutrients and vitamin C. And we all know that I'm wrong. I lack exercise, I lack sleep, and I do not take vitamins as for the moment.
All of the stresses from the past week till now attacked me like bees. I feel terrible today and I might get sick. I can feel fever, colds, and flu being friendly with me. Whew!
And to get rid of this, I promise to stuff my mouth with lots of fruits and vitamins, which I do not know will ever get me fine. I need motherly care! Heheheh! Am I going home or not?

That's Life
Ending contract with 'probi' employees is very hard to do. Especially when they show very good performance and attitude inside the office. But policies in the company should be complied and no one can break the rules. Just by thinking that a herd of employed people will soon be work-less is so depressing.
But what can we do, T H A T ' S L I F E. It's unfair and we have to get used to it.

One More Chance: Revisiting
We were just talking about this amazing movie and I would dare say this is my all-time favorite. I would never get tired watching One More Chance over and over again. Call me freak, but this hit me for so many times everytime I'm watching it.
I liked every scene and every line in the movie. I really like watching John Lloyd Cruz act. Although I am a certified Kapuso, I do give my credits to a very well-done movie. Here's the list of the scenes (if you also watched it) that really made me cry and I have related myself into.
1. Basha confesses to Popoy that she wants them to get back. The scene where John Lloyd got to say, "You had me at my best, she had me at my worst."
2. The "Take me lord" scene by Janus del Prado. This young male really amazes me with his acting prowess. And when John Lloyd said the script, "Ikaw pa nga ang nagsabi na kapag iniwan tayo ng mga taong mahal natin, may darating na bago na mas magmamahal pa sa atin..."
3. The confrontation between John Lloyd and Maja. Maja is like taking it really emotionally. And I would bet my penny on her, this girl has got a long long way to go.
It is a chick-flick, but it does happen in real life.

Birthday Wishlist
So to celebrate the 23 years of staying in this harsh but beautiful world, I am making a wishlist. This can be a list of things for me to buy for myself or if anyone with a heart of gold, will be generous enough...Aheem. Thanks in advance. ;)
Colored jeans are at hype nowadays. If I reach 42, I will be afraid i won't be boasting about owning a fuschia skinny jeans during my younger age. So, I'm buying one today. ;)
It was an ultimate dream to be wearing a corporate three-piece suit in a high-end company. Because the company I am working for doesn't require business attires, I so envy women-empowering, sophisticated ladies who wear black, classic, three-inch, and pointed pumps. :D
Nail Arts! I am so amazed with this cool nail paintings. Since I am painting my nails today, I'd be happy to be treated with some nail arts. I think there's one in SM City.
If ever I'll be making this happen, I will grow my finger nails square first.
All-white Havaianas flip-flops. I don't know what's with this brand. So, im trying it. Hehe. They say it's very durable, but I just think it's the marketing and building up of the product name which makes it more appealing to people, to think that for just a pair of rubber slippers, it will cost your wallet Php 800. 8-}
I want one from Brazil itself. I'm joining the herd!
And finally. WOLD PEACE. You think I'm so materialistic, think again, you fickle-minded! :P

Amazing Topless Sandals
As a person who have in 'some ways' studied Marketing, marketers or businessmen as what we are called, are always looking for the newest thing to sell or to make use of or looking for more ways in modifying a certain product to be presented to the market.
And then I found this newest and coolest trend as I was browsing through my multiply network's contacts. I was amazed and asked myself if how on earth can you wear topless sandals?
This invention is made to have an illusion when seeing the wearer as walking barefoot. Indeed it is like walking barefoot, but only wearing something to protect your feet. Topless sandals are flexible and conditioned with a clean water-based adhesive we call "the stick". This stick is said to have a guaranteed life span of one year.
Cool isn't it?

The Threats of Sashimi
This time, as I was browsing through this favorite site of mine, I have found out that Sashimi/Raw Fish can be one source of tapeworm!
There's a prominent seafood restaurant in Chicago which was sued by one of their customers because he said that the salmon that they served him caused him to have a tapeworm. And that was indeed, true. According to John Rawley, a seafood expert, tapeworms are commonly found in salmon!Pak! The only thing to be done to get rid of the tapeworm from the fish is to completely cook it or freeze it at -31 degrees Farenheit for at least 15 hours.
See? Don't be too trusty with your fishy!

Harry Potter 6 Movie Release Moved To July 2009
We don't know why the release of the upcoming 6th Harry Potter movie was moved to a different date. We've been so excited to see the movie which was reported to be released November this year.
In the book, the half-blood prince is meant to be Professor Snape. I was so anxious to see Ginny and Harry's kissing scene in the Gryffindor common room and I can't even wait for the November 2008 release, then it's being moved to next year! mahahay!
Allegations said that producers of the movie would not want to compete with the highest-grosser movie this year, The Dark Knight. Or they just want more money?
Others showed their rage about the delay, but I myself would like to wait patiently.
Please see apology of Alan Horn, President of Warner Bothers, in mugglenet.com about Harry Potter 6's delay of release.

Why Fourth Finger is the Ring Finger
Firstly, open your palms (face to face), bend the middle fingers and hold them together - back to back.
Secondly, open and hold the remaining three fingers and the thumb - tip to tip
Now, try to separate your thumbs (representing the parents)..., they will open, because your parents are not destined to live with you lifelong, and have to leave you sooner or later.
Please join your thumbs as before and separate your Index fingers (representing siblings)...they will also open, because your brothers and sisters will have their own families and will have to lead their own separate lives.
Now join the Index fingers and separate your Little fingers (representing your children)...they will open too, because the children also will get married and settle down on their own some day.
Finally, join your Little fingers, and try to separate your Ring fingers (representing your spouse).
You will be surprised to see that you just CANNOT, because Husband & Wife have to remain together all their lives - through thick and thin!!
Try it and you'll see. ;)

Kung Ayaw Mo, Huwag Mo!
Hari ng dedmahan ng teleponong
Apat na magdamag nang di umiimik
Kung di ka tatawagan,
May pag-asa kayang
At may katok pa yatang doorbell niyo
Magtatatlong oras na'ko dito... hello?
Hindi kita mapipilit kung ayaw mo,
Huwag mo akong isipin, bahala ka.
Hindi kita mapipigil kung balak mong
Ako'y iwanang nag-iisa
Hindi kita mapipilit kung ayaw mo,
Huwag mo akong isipin, bahala na.
Hindi kita mapipigil kung balak mong
Ako'y iwanang nag-iisa
Kung ayaw mo huwag,
Kung ayaw mo huwag,
Kung ayaw mo-
Kung ayaw mo, huwag mo!
Kung ayaw mo huwag,
Kung ayaw mo huwag,

8-8-08
The number 8 is lucky in the Chinese lands because of its symmetrical shape. If the number 8 will be cut either horizontally or vertically, each will have a mirror of itself. In Chinese Astrology, symmetrical is ideal. (source: http://www.onlinechineseastrology.com/content-detail.aspx?ID=108)
I think one reason why number 8 is lucky if you ask some people here in the Philippines is because it does not have an end. It doesn't stop.
The date 8-8-08 is also lucky for weddings. Luckier, as they said, than the date 7-7-07.
Have a lucky 8-8-08 to all of you!

Brandon Boyd in Protect Your Largest Organ
This year, Marc Jacobs had this upraise or wake-up call for the people to protect our skin against any harmful diseases or sickness that might affect the largest organ of our body.
I was amazed to find out that together with an array of beautiful celebrities, Brandon has joined this program of Marc Jacobs. This is somewhat a kind of a CSR or Corporate Social Responsibility for Marc Jacobs to have a call for us to protect the, if not the most important, then the organ which, if not treated well, might let us get down with the big C.
Celebrities went naked for this Social Responsibility program by Marc Jacobs. They posed without any clothings on for photos and these photos were then printed in shirts. Cool shirts! And LUCKY us! Brandon was in the shirt, naked!
Aside from showing us how sexy he is, he's also opening our minds to protect the skin we're in as well as our largest organ.
These shirts with naked celebrities, promoting Skin Protection were said to be only available in Marc Jacobs stores. But I saw one in Ebay!

come fall season in the other parts of the world, this new accessory will be a hit and is actually becoming popular. A bib necklace with its leather and metal features by Tory Burch. I would only wear it if I am in an orange tube top. And I don't even look that good when wearing a tube!

Regine & Piolo: Paano Kita Iibigin
I watched (re-watched, actually) the movie last Saturday while waiting for the arrival of someone very special to me whom I really missed the most and was only been gone ten days or so. He was in Manila then when we had an exchange of SMSes. Coincidentally, we were watching the same movie on the same channel but in just different places. And unfortunately, I ended watching the movie all by myself coz he turned off his TV and headed off to the airport to come see me!Yipee!
No more elaborations, I would like to proceed with the little reactions, little moments, and little dwelling and crying. Imagine yourself being Marteena (played by Regine), you are loving, and the love is unrequited. Well, you actually don't know if it is unrequited or not, because the guy (played by Piolo) is so Mr. Misunderstood.
I cried in this line, when Marteena was asking him, "Mahal mo ba ako? Mahal mo ba ako?!" And he said, "I NEVER GOT THERE..."

me and brandon boyd
me, brandon boyd, an underground room made to be storage for sportscar, a single bed, Brandon in a homely tshirt ready to be ripped off, and I lying on the single bed next to Brandon Boyd in that cozy storage room.
Haha. Imagine a basement made as a storage of whippin' sportscars?
It means Brandon is too huge to be in a basement but still brings with him the coolness.
Single bed.
aheem. That single bed is for the two of us. I lying in his left arm, and his right arms embracing me. Really a dream.
Brandon in a homely t-shirt ready to be ripped off.
As what I have read about the godly Brandon Boyd, everything he wore belonged to someone else except of course the underwears and the socks. Ready to be ripped off means, ready for me to rip them off. hahaha. We always see Brandon Boyd in those ratty clothes so I guess that's just him in my dream. ;)
I and him lying on that single bed.
well, well, well...hmmm, isn't it amazingly awesome?! This means, I have been longing for this to happen. Haha.

headbangin' even if you have no idea
I filed a vacation leave, bought a pair of cute knee-length shorts, decided to wear a black blouse to keep the spirit of rockin' and rollin' and then I had no idea what's the vocalist's name. The only song of Urbandub that I am familiar with is Guillotine. Introduced by a friend, to put in my ipod. I have seen the music video, but I am still not aware of the band and it's members.
I have kind of tried to ready myself searching for the songs of Urbandub before the July 18th gig in UPV. But my trying wasn't enough because I have not found any. Shame on me.
All in all, I did enjoy the headbangin' part which I did with my friend who knows one or two songs of Urbandub. But I should say, if you see a band in flesh, you become more curious about them. They had great songs, easy to listen to, and the best lyrics. If I will see Urbandub playing on TV or hear them on the radio, I would say, I have attended a gig of that band and it was worth the rock and roll.
Here we are camwhoring before and after the gig.
running after the cam.
the three of us, Beth, Me, and Shella
Andie telling us to go home already.
thanks to Shella and Andie for the pics which I had the freedom to save and post them here in my blogger. :)

what's your romantic date?
I was dazzled when a cousin whom I treat as a baby sister asked me what would be an ideal romantic date.
She said, for her, a romantic date would be, you and your boyfriend, sitting in the seashore when the sun is setting. But I thought to myself that would be an old, used, rotten romanticism if I may say so. My cousin may have heard it from someone, or read it from a book, or worse, a talk show host. Nyaha.
So, my idea of a romantic date would be sitting next to someone you love in your cousin's room and talking about anything that you two want, like his life when he is working, and the dreams and hopes that you want to achieve. Then he kisses you. haha. That's all about it. A romantic date doesn't mean you should be renting a cottage in a beach or pay an entrance fee to just be in the a seashore. It does not require a lot of roses and chocolates and stuffed animals to be romantic. It just requires you and him and both your presence.
Being with the one you love is romantic.
Well, we perceive a romantic date differently, so it's subjective.
So YOU! yes, you. What's your romantic date? Or, what is romantic for you?!

hanky as a gift
I was like 9 years old when I heard about the superstitious belief about a handkerchief. That is, to never give a hanky as a gift because sooner you will make the receiver of the gift cry for whatever reason it may be.
After a month, I broke up with my boyfriend. He came up to me asking why. And he cried.

S A D
Teardrops On My Guitar
Drew looks at me, I fake a smile so he won't see
That I want and I need everything that we should be
I'll bet she's beautiful, that girl he talks about
And she's got everything that I have to live without
Drew talks to me, I laugh cause it's so damn funny
That I can't even see anyone when he's with me
He says he's so in love, he's finally got it right,
I wonder if he knows he's all I think about at night
He's the reason for the teardrops on my guitar
The only thing that keeps me wishing on a wishing star
He's the song in the car I keep singing, don't know why I do
Drew walks by me, can he tell that I can't breathe?
And there he goes, so perfectly,
The kind of flawless I wish I could be
She'd better hold him tight, give him all her love
Look in those beautiful eyes and know she's lucky cause
He's the reason for the teardrops on my guitar
The only thing that keeps me wishing on a wishing star
He's the song in the car I keep singing, don't know why I do
So I drive home alone, as I turn out the light
I'll put his picture down and maybe
Get some sleep tonight
He's the reason for the teardrops on my guitar
The only one who's got enough of me to break my heart
He's the song in the car I keep singing, don't know why I do
He's the time taken up, but there's never enough
And he's all that I need to fall into..
Drew looks at me, I fake a smile so he won't see.
Just feel how sad would it be if you're in the girl's place. There are things in life that we think are the only thing that will keep us alive or the only thing that we think is the missing piece in our lives. Perfect for us, but we cannot own them.
And it feels more S A D if we can touch or talk to the one we long for, but we cannot have them for ourselves.

CC as in Credit Card
Now let's talk about the credit card that I've got. I am so excited because the credit card company has this promo that if a cardholder will have its first purchase of worth Php2000, there is gonna be a worth Php3000 free of any Adidas street gear. How lucky can I get!
I let my aunt use my card who is having her monthly grocery. The grocery amounted to Php3316, and I now got my above-minimum purchase with no hassle and no problem on how to pay a Php2000 by next month.
Tomorrow, I am gonna avail that FREE worth Php3000 Adidas street gear. Wish me luck!

18th birthday
To sum it all up, we didn't have the money to have a "welcome me to the adult world" celebration. Period. Hahaha.
The day I became 18, my mother and my father had, I think, a huge fight which caused silence in our home. Nobody remembered my birthday, except me. How sad.
Now, I am 22. Going on 23. I'm still thinking at what age will I be blowing those 18 candles in a styrofoam-made staircase with a blue-dressed plastic Barbie at the top. You get it, I'll be celebrating my 18th birthday. Not when I become 23. Maybe when I become 30 or 40. ;)

instinct told me so
well, after almost three weeks of not putting an entry in here, many things had just happened to me. I changed my hair style, placed my family first in line, and broke a person's heart.
I am telling a real story here and I'm not proud to say that. But instinct told me so.
Now I feel free and the dagger that's been in my heart for almost 8 months, has been pulled by someone instrumental in getting me out of the mess that I myself created.
I broke up with him on our month-sary which is 4 days before his birthday. That's June 11, the morning I woke up, it was June 12, Philippine's Independence Day.
Freedom for All!
Hallelujah!

peace of mind
she has a daughter who is in the USA now, and I have no idea if she rains her mother over with money, and this aunt also has a son who is such a burden in her back. burden means-- she gets back home from her domestic helping in Cyprus, and pays her sons debts, pays his bail, and fights with him in the middle of the night waking up their neighbors.
When we said he is so out of the competition, I was amazed when he answered, "At least I have my peace of mind. My two eldest daughters have their own careers now, and the youngest is graduating this October. I can sleep well at night and anytime God will take me, I am ready. I have no angst or any unfinished business that I might mind when I'm dead because all of my children are accomplished."
Yup, nobody can buy a peace of mind. My father has also mentioned that any millionaires in the world would give up their millions if there is a merchandise called peace of mind.
A story also comes to my thinking. I have a co-member in our reading ministry who belongs to a political leaders family here in Iloilo City. His surname says so. He once shared that he is so thankful that eventhough he has no money or not in power like his relatives, everytime his head reaches his pillow, he sleeps immediately. Unlike his relatives, before getting into bed, they would first check if the windows and doors of their homes are locked, and if there is a gun under their pillows. See the difference?
Peace of mind is such a simple state that a person will have but getting it is having to get through many obstacles and do the right deeds.
